"P.W. Doodle" disappeared from the WBAL lineup in 1965, after the station's Mickey Mouse Club contract expired.  Royal Parker stayed on as staff announcer at Channel 11, voiced countless commercials ("Hey, get off of that furniture.  Are you trying to ruin it?"), and ultimately hosted "Pinbusters."  And like his co-worker Lary Lewman, Royal gave acting a try, appearing in the feature film "Diner."  Once offered the role of "White Fang" on "The Soupy Sales Show," Royal Parker, now 72, is retired and lives in the Baltimore neighborhood of Pikesville with wife Phyllis.
